“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that
created it.” – Albert Einstein
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a therapeutic modality that can enhance your ability to connect to your body, process trauma, and work through cognitive blocks that hinder the progress you are seeking. Our conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg of who we are. With KAP we dive deeper into the subconscious to achieve insight and healing while lowering defenses and leaning deeper into processing.
About Ketamine
Ketamine is a legally prescribed psychedelic in the state of Colorado that can be used for therapeutic purposes with the supervision and guidance of a trained professional.
When is KAP a Good Option?
- You’re feeling stuck in your current therapy journey.
- You have a hard time getting out of your head and connecting with your body.
- You have tried several other modalities to address symptoms of depression and anxiety.
- You are looking for relief from symptoms associated with trauma.
- You’re seeking connection with the deeper parts of yourself.
The Process
There are a few steps to engaging in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. First, you will receive a free 15-minute consultation with a KAP trained provider to determine if this modality is a good option for you.
Next, you’ll be asked to complete a full mental health intake with two to three unmedicated preparation sessions to discuss treatment goals and prepare for medicinal sessions. You will also complete an intake with a psychiatric provider to obtain a ketamine prescription if deemed clinically appropriate.
